Yeah, this is a horrible story. I grew up in Northwich and went to see Crewe a few times, and Northwich Victoria most weekends. Stevie Walters is a hard bastard, and this makes me think that to an even greater extent.
Massive respect for them for coming out with this, it must have been awful to experience and then revisit but having the strength to be open about it will be helping a lot of others.

Very much in awe of the courage that Andy Woodward and Steve Walters have shown in coming forward to tell their stories about the abuse they suffered. Daniel Taylor also deserves a huge amount of praise for his work and sensitive writing on the story, when other journalists would rather concentrate on football players visiting lap dance clubs.
