Bar Grips Slipping!

My right handlebar grips keeps slipping now that is has become cold+wet.

I use hairspray to glue them on. What is the best solution?

• Doing L2B this weekend so don't want them to slip.
  
• Seem to start slipping when it's raining.
  
• Taken them off/on a few times, so they aren't entirely flush at the ends.
