For reasons that are too boring to get into I was given $300 non-transferrable on Amazon.com (US store only) and I thought I'd try to source some crabon rims because I have a nice light BMC and I'd like to make it about 1k heavier because I do laps of Regents Park and it's important that the RPR guys know that I think I know what I'm doing. I know ICAN buy prebuilt wheels (lol) for $300 but no way.
I don't know why but these seem like the "best" choice https://www.amazon.com/Carbon-Clincher-Tubular-Bicycle-Single/dp/B01M31GU6B/ref=sr_1_3_m?s=outdoor-recreation&ie=UTF8&qid=1479804393&sr=1-3 but wondering if you thought it would be a fun challenge to try and find something worth building up. I did actually find some YOLEO rims but I don't want to spend much more than $300. What a fun challenge!
It's either this or an xbox 1 i guess.
