Main problem is glasses steaming up when you stop.
A drop of washing up liquid (Fairy) polished onto each side of the lenses until dry will prevent steaming. Worked for crash helmet visors so will work for (sun)glasses too.

All the cool kids have one of those caps.

Only 7 hrs too late but agree with this. One short cut that's worked for me is the same as Constable Savage suggests but you can rinse it lightly with water straight away after rubbing in the Fairy liquid which cuts down on drying time.

Odd timing regarding posts upthread, but anyone in Warsaw got a good bike going cheap?
Need not be a Romet, but there for 12 days from 3rd. Possible further trips.

He is definitely on a par with Lenny Henry, Jim Davidson and Michael Barrymore.

Sounds about right. Current Radio 4 series is right up there with those three.

unusual question: Hive mind,
what is the cheapest method to get a chair and stool from King's Lynn to South London?
I've never got anything like this from the countryside.
Any help please.

What's the name of the website where you post up small jobs you need doing and people come back to you with their fee for said job?

I quite fancy some good quality steel forks for my road biek (retrogrouch), curved, 1 1/8, flat crown, 45mm rake. What options do I have other than going custom?
-
• #80321
Define good quality, as in better than what Surly offer? (need to find your length and brake drop too)
-
• #80322
yes, better quality than that. Better steel would be a good starter, more 853 than 4130. It's for aesthetic reasons, but I don't want them to feel like shit

Thorn do 46 rake... https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/forks/46-700c-thorn-853c-steel-fork-black-gloss/

Check if the Thorn one andy posted have a similar a-t-c as your current fork.
Beside Thorn, I think it gonna be pretty hard to find a similar fork for less than £200, especially since to the best of my knowledge, a custom fork actually cost as much as that Thorn fork.

Task Rabbit?
Merino buff (or equivalent, the one I have is the only piece of Rapha I own) over your nose, headband (or skullcap if it's really cold).
Main problem is glasses steaming up when you stop. I set off like that and gradually move the buff down as I warm up.
Off the bike good for -20 plus windchill
