Ok well just about recovered from EfM, 71.5 miles covered but less than 60 as the crow flies (although due to the curvature of the earth, crow would have to do some digging as well as flying)
The bitter sub zero temps, and midnight start weren't ideal. Also my routing was shit, I had to climb down off a steep embankment to escape the hardshoulder madness that was the A5.
The A4146 was even worse, a small country road, with long straights that had cars approaching at 70+ mph and me diving onto the verge.
Had bad acid reflux and the shits.
But despite all of that I enjoyed it, much fun texting rhb and mutual piss take.
Will do again.
