Winter bike is almost ready. Just missing some bolts and clips for the mudguards. Also missing the spacer for the cassette, anyone got a spare one lying around? For 9 speed shimano.

It doesn't have gear cable guides?

Nope, not sure how they work but I imagine they've been removed. Some zip ties have fixed that though

Last time i needed one it was like £1.50 from LBS
I now run a bike shop and give them away free if I have spares.

It's 24cm. Quite a bit longer than what I am used to riding, so I hope it will suit me.

Parts bin builds really are the best, build this up a few weeks ago and having a lot of fun on it. Cost me less than 200 euro's (most of it went to the n/w chainring, which works a treat!)
1x10 is awesome and the chain hasn't dropped of once. Now to cut the steerer and ride it a lot more.

Bike looks awesome, what frame is it?
-
• #111262
Thanks! It's probably an older kinesis 7005 alu frame. Still has a 1 inch headset. Got it for free as it was hanging in the shop I work for for at least 10 years.
Quite light to at <9kgs for the build as pictured. -

Anyone have a ritchey seat post? 27.2 in black, around 350 or uncut?
Thanks

Looks good, I think I saw that fork on German ebay?
My partner has done this in the past, but he ended up with a horrible seized stem. Tolerances seem to be ultra tight. So may be worth tightening and untightening the quil stem and greasing it extra to prevent hassle lateron :)

Excellent! One has turned up locally and thinking about building it up as winter go fast bike.
Can you tell me what headset it takes? Also interested to know about tire clearance, can it clear 28s? -
• #111275
Specialized's official headset for it is the Mindset, but I think certain FSA bearings will drop in, mine has an FSA top cap and cartridge bearings, certainly. As for clearance, I can measure the frame later, but I only personally have 22/23c tubs to test fit, aside from my gf's 32c touring wheelset. Might be able to borrow a friend's Ksyrium's with 28c Paselas. I've also got an aftermarket LOOK HSC fork, not the original. Maybe @Thrasher can help you out there.
Just be wary of corrosion if you use it over winter, it's very thin tubing
