Cyclocross - CX and SSCX races and training

The hanger is on the fork low down, its carbon Glider fork.

You have the low hanger.
Check the pads toe-in-angle onto the rim.
Check the pads are in good order and no rim damage.
Cartridge pads are a good upgrade if not allready using them and less faffing once set up as you just swap out the pads from the cartridge.

Canti's are a dark art to set up nicely :)

They have Swisstop greens in there currently, they have done some miles so maybe time to change.

Koolstop Multi's get thumbs up here so maybe it's time!

Forgot to ask, is it definitely brake shudder and not play in the headset?

I spent weeks swapping out cartridges and tightening stuff only to notice a small (tiny) amount of play in the headset.

Yesterday i entered the hillingdon race thats in december. anyone else going along? just wondering what the course is like. be my first race and i'm not gonna lie i'm excited!

I think it is, have checked the headset, but will check it again, ,trying to remember when I first noticed it. Bike has been on the road since July after being built, granted pads and canti's where not new but wheels were.

Good for a first race. Nice mix of corners, hurdles, short punchy climbs, grass and tarmac.

Don't forget the adverse cambers. They love a bit of that action at Hillingdon/in the Central League generally.

The u19 and u23 WC races at Kojksidje have been cancelled this morning due to gale force winds. A decision on the Women's and Men's races will be made later.

That's a shame, there were some people at Eastern League yesterday who were meant to be headed out to watch them. I hope they find out in time.

Yeah, just saw. 100 kph winds on exposed coastlines don't make for safe racing though.

not the 'Dutch Open Headwind Championships' though, also being held today, in the bottom left corner of the country ;-)
