Thinking of building up some of these rims: http://bor-germany.de/en/product/129-xmd366-29er-380-g#tab-specs-weights

Ideally to build a 1400g(ish) wheelset to replace the boat anchors I've got on the Rych - what hubs/spokes combination? 11 speed shimano groupset. Novatec, DT Swiss etc.

1400 might be a struggle. If you have the money gun, DT 240 centrelock and CX Rays would get you to around 1450g on a good day. Fairly sure there are some Stans rims lighter than those that could get you nearer 1400?

So I'll probably need carbon if I'm going to hit that weight and not get out the money gun.
