Yeah I agree its good to start a little lower down. I'm not sure thats low enough though. MK Dons are still a relatively big club.
I reckon he'd be better placed to work as a under 21s manager or similar before getting a first team coach job. I don't get this desire to be managing so close to the end of your playing career. I'd want a manager with some experience, even if its not first team.
It could work though. There are tons of examples of young inexperienced managers doing well in their first jobs. I can't see him becoming the next Eddie Howe though.
I can't see why this is laughable to be honest. Why shouldn't he start off at a shit club? Unlike Neville, Giggs et al who seem to think they have a divine right to manage at the highest level with zero experience
