  • Not really. Just have access to some good trade accounts, and a good group of friends who do cool shit with bikes, and we like to help each other out. Saddleback have also supported me with some of the more expensive parts for this build.

Also, I dont have to waste 75% of my income on overpriced London rent as I realised London is mostly full of cunts, so moved to greener pastures.

Not that it's anyones business anyway!

    amen!

has the bottle cage discussion started yet?

I vote King SS (Not Iris).

  • I' ve got the SS King cages that were on the Ritchey before I sold it knocking around in a cupboard somewhere, will be using them!

  • Those Gigantex rims look interesting. I assume 35mm deep, or are they super-wide?

Also, painted mudguards, due to the different carbon finishes?

  • Yes, 35mm deep. 25mm external width. Tubeless compatible.
    As seen here:

  • Bit narrow

  • There's no pleasing some people

  • What model are the rims?

  • Good post day today!

  • Not sure of the exact model, just went with what Gav recommended, will report back!

  • Be interested to know how you get on fitting those Challenge tyres. Mine were an utter pain in the arse to get on the rims, dreading a puncture. Tried on both a set of Hunts and a set of Mavic Ksyriums and they were as tight as fook on both.

  • Once they've been on and inflated for a while they stretch and are much easier to get on and off.

  • Still though. Scoble video might be necessary for first install.

  • Fitted them to a set of enve 3.4's to stretch them out a bit today, as you got me worried they would be a pain to get on.... but they went on super easy without any drama! No stretching needed after all.

  • How much paint do you usually end up left over from a paint job?

  • Totally depends on the job, and what sort of viscosity I need to mix to. Most of the time I mix up my own colours though, so it's not really an issue.

Will prolly use 25% of this 500ml tin for this, but the remainder will always get used up at somepoint to cook up something else.

  • I realised almost immediately after asking that it was a piece of string question.
Lovely green, was always my favorite of the Cannondale track colours

  • Exactly the green I'm looking for, keen to see this finished.

  • Lovely colour!
