I knew I wasn't going to see the moon - the weather is something we cannot change - it is bigger than us....
However just to echo John's comment, it was a great ride and company... A select bunch - just 10 punters with another pick up near Regents Park. In LFGSS tradition I did a circle or two outside Tate Modern and then rode over the wobbly bridge rather than walking on my way up to St Pauls. Met John and Kris holding court on the steps. The ride up to Hampstead was pretty quick paced which was nice and a really good work out for me at my age. The trip up and over Primrose Hill park was lovely and it was great to cycle around the streets on the approach to the Heath.
I split just as the special viewing treat courtesy of the lovely Fraser was to happen. Then headed home to Dread Heights. 27.71 miles in the bag. I felt really high after a great workout and lovely ride.
