And because they’re made of our special wrinkle-free material, you’ll look good on the bike and around the office.

Would the PT Training Jersey be warm enough to ride in 0-8 degrees with a gilet? Any other similar products you'd suggest?

This is incredible. I thought the ft sportive a few years ago was the peak of the cycling is the new golf story. I was wrong. EC1 must be it.

Aside from how shit that Assos stuff is - who took the fucking pictures?!
8 out of 12 of them, the product isn't in focus. Every single photo is beyond awful anyway - shit light, shit model, shit composition, shit product. I think some of them might even be phone pics...
Christ. And they expect you to pay hundreds for their tat. -

agree
looks like they uploaded the pictures without the "black and white suffering" filters. -

I wore mine in 2 degrees c on Chewsday, had a craft base layer as well as Gore AS gilet.
Only stayed out 2 hours.

Okay thanks, I'm thinking of either this or a Sportful Fiandre Light Jersey. Tried the Albion jersey but doesn't fit my body shape

Is there going to be anything worth getting from Rapha on black Friday? Or shall I just splurge now.

It depends on the humidity. Zero degrees and wet air - you're gonna freeze your tits off.

PT softshell jacket? Dont know from experience but just bought on second hand today. Have a softshell classic and wanted something a bit closer to skin - no need for extra layers. Plan is this with ls base layer, neckwarmer for medium tempo passes in temps 0-8
Hope I am right.
Classic softshell for a bit more brutal and colder weather (until I get money for a hardshell... which is most likely what I should have for 2 and below. -

assos still have my utmost respect and admiration for the race specific clothing they produce and have produced over the many decades they've been in the game. this stuff on the other hand ................ apart from the königskroneHelm which i like.

Never really had a thing for Rapha until I went to their Spitalfields shop... pretty much wanted to buy their whole jacket range... as you lot are seasoned veterans, which one should I go for?

Ultimate jacket IMO. Its PT jacket with the word 'training' added to it this year and £40 less than what it used to be.
I have some hopes from the classic winter as they've combined the classic hard and soft shell and added vents. Pricey though, £100 more than PTTJ.

I tried the PTTJ in Soho recently. The fit is miles different vs to PT soft shell. Much narrower across the chest/pits, even when in riding position.
-
• #27297
The only difference I found from the old PT jacket to PTTJ was the material is slightly more stretchy.
-
• #27299
go and try things for fit but if you are looking for an overall winter jacket PTTJ is hard to beat.

That's what I'm planning on doing... I've been waiting for Howies to make a new Slate River jacket for years which they've just done but I'm needing something a bit more fitted these days... hence why I looked at Rapha
