I think @coldharbour should build a bike and come too.

Good idea. Should fit at least 10 bikes in that Volvo.

Yissssss
But you gotta commit and get uplift passes...
-
• #8
Is it likely to go ahead on a weekday or weekend?
-
• #9
I really have no idea right now. I would have thought the weekend is best for most people?
-
• #10
Any idea how far in advance that needs doing?
Also, have they sorted that out a bit, as last I heard, they were a bit slow?
-
• #11
Couple of months in winter, further ahead in summer.
They've upped their lift game :)

• #12
That's cool, I won't freelancing much next year so will only really be about on weekends.
-
• #13
Assume you'd do a whole weekend?
-
• #14
I really have no idea right now

Tempted.

Just tempted? Watch the video again.
Much gnar. Very jump.
-
• #20
Have been before. I don't jump that well (what with being a male Caucasian...).
-
• #21
I'm always down to bounce down hill on the full sus.
The uplift was pretty slow the 2 times I used it but the pedal up is super easy.
-
• #22
The uplift is well sorted these days.

Sounds like they're already expecting me.
"Badgers run is the easiest trail at BikePark Wales, it is a great introduction to Mountain Biking. Badgers Run is a smooth flowing trail which has been stone surfaced to prevent it from being too muddy in wet weather. This trail is 1KM long and is suitable for adults and children who are competent cyclists who are new to mountain biking."

It's well gnar

If anyone is considering the BPW trip and might be wary after watching the video earlier in the thread, consider that not all the trails are like that. The blue trails are far more flowy, smoother, and don't necessitate getting big air.
They are definitely manageable on a decent hard tail.
Just an idea at the moment, but please register your interest :-)
