Lovely bike!
Instead of re-chroming the shifter you could also sand down the chrome and polish the underlying aluminium to a mirror finish. I've seen it done somewhere and it looked pretty good. -

Judging by the headtube, that might be 58cm c-c? Would you mind confirming the top tube measurement c-c?

Original forks? Doesn't look like a threadless converter on it, but didn't think threadless was a thing in 1991?
Beautiful bike

Boooooo to bay
On another note, so much want
Selling this awesome Klein Quantum with a full Shimano Dura Ace groupset.
It's a 1991 model and was recently resprayed by Argos Racing Cycles in its original pink colour.
It has been rebuild with new rims, bottom bracket, headset, cables, chain and cassette.
The bike works very well and the groupset is in great condition for its age.
The frame is perfect with no scratches or dents and the groupset has its usual wear and tear. The only real issue is the chrome on the right shifter could do with being re-chromed.
This is a super rare pre Trek Klein and when you own one you get membership to a very exclusive club.
