• Mine has been in service for about a month now and I'm loving it. My build was delayed because I was supplied with a faulty caliper initially so couldn't bleed the front brake.

Went for Hunt 4season disc wheels with 28mm Conti 4 Seasons and it makes for a very smooth ride. Frame looks beautiful in the blue and is staying that way thanks to a set of matt 35 bleumels

The 685/805 brakes and shifters work fantastically well but I have found the hood shape is a bit lumpy without careful wrapping. The rest of the running gear is ultegra stuff I took off the old bike along with the cockpit, saddle etc.

Great fun to ride and the hydraulics are a revelation in power and feel.

  • Any pics? Discs really are a revelation eh? Interesting you got 28s to fit under bluemel 35s. I went for the 45 longboards, maybe should've sized down...

  • I need to take some nice ones this weekend.
The 28s fit fine actually, no issues at all. This might be to do with the wide rims. They come up with a nice rounded profile and at about 70psi are spot on for me.
