Good news, @MrSweary.
I got a call, today, to let me know that my frame has arrived.
After a lot of planning, thinking, measuring and waiting, I will finally be able to begin my build - tomorrow.Kinda excited.
Mine has been in service for about a month now and I'm loving it. My build was delayed because I was supplied with a faulty caliper initially so couldn't bleed the front brake.
Went for Hunt 4season disc wheels with 28mm Conti 4 Seasons and it makes for a very smooth ride. Frame looks beautiful in the blue and is staying that way thanks to a set of matt 35 bleumels
The 685/805 brakes and shifters work fantastically well but I have found the hood shape is a bit lumpy without careful wrapping. The rest of the running gear is ultegra stuff I took off the old bike along with the cockpit, saddle etc.
Great fun to ride and the hydraulics are a revelation in power and feel.
