I tried to ignore a section on the forum and then unignore specific threads within.

ie. I only want to see the Grand Tour specific threads of the rides and races forum. How do I achieve this?

From my experience, ignoring a forum takes precedence over threads.

You need to unignore the forum and ignore the threads.

The other eay round would make more sense.
Or following overrides ignore would work too.
