It took them months to sort mine, right in the middle of the season.
Broke all my club records on my old S80 wheel.
Anyone want an 808FC? :)
I've not had any issues with my 404s either but they're older and don't do many miles.

I've got two pairs already. I think a fifth 808 would be greedy.
-

Oh, and Evans said it would take about two weeks but I'm taking that with a pinch of salt.

You should get yourself one of the old SRAM S80s. 1/5th the price and now proven to be faster :)
-
• #6981
Good luck with that. It'll take longer than 2 weeks just in transit time.

Worth picking up a pair of the DT Swiss 24s to replace my basically new Mavic Aksiums Elites?
-
• #6983
Anything is better then Mavic.
-
• #6984
Nah you don't need it.
However you can send half of the money you've just saved thanks to me to my Paypal, no problem
-
• #6985
Ha! Was thinking I could get the 24s while they're on sale and sell the mavics on for the same price
-
• #6986
Doubt youd sell Mavics for £100. If you ride a lot just keep the R24s stored away for when the Mavics die. If you don't ride a lot then well, you don't need an upgrade :)

I have too many wheels already. There, I said it. That means I'm on the road to recovery.

Was that you who drop it off at St Paul?
-
• #6989
The 202, 303 and 808? Yep.

Still haven't got a working tracking number for those R24s from Chain Reaction ordered Thursday. Parcelforce just says "advised"
-
• #6991
Yeah, mine says that too. Also noticed they updated the photos in the listing. I suspect these are indeed going to be some weird old narrow rim. Shame
-
• #6992
So that was you! We already send it out on Friday, lots of bubble wrapping involved.
-
• #6993
Excellent. Cheers!

• #6994
Oh, and I hope you appreciated that I'd already taken the tubs off. That was me trying to be nice. And because the 808 had a p*nct*re.
-
• #6995
Hah, I can see from the residue left on the rims, it does make it easier but usually not necessary, thank tho.

Dt swiss hubs Vs Chris King hubs for all year round wheels? I'm on one bike commuting all year so I need something that doesn't mind getting soaked in the rain for half the year..
-
• #6997
DT because they are cheaper

My Eurus' are finally wearing out.
What silver, wide, clincher wheelset for commuter / winter bike use? It has PDW black guards on it now. Anything that'll give me a tiny bit more clearance would be good too, but I suspect that's not within the powers of wheelset choice.
I could also just use the Fulcrum 7 LG CX I've got, but they're black and don't fit the vibe.

Shimano Ultegra 6800 Wheelset, is this an "outdated" wheelset and i will die if i get these or the wiggle price of 240euros can get me better bang elsewhere. ...?
Thx! -

TB14?
The CPSC notice refers to only one failure but I'm aware anecdotally of others. I finally got round to taking my three (one of which is technically @Cycliste's) to Evans yesterday for the hubs to be replaced.
