Went with my mate down to Huntington Beach last night to check out a DRZ400 for him to do Barstow Vegas. Turned out to be pretty cool - big Baja Designs Soltek headlight, vapor tech dash and a nice full system Yoshi. Apparently had a big bore conversion and the E cam, nice big flat side Keihin.
I had a quick spin and the difference to my Husky is profound - it's a lot heavier (probably 70lbs at least) but way more bottom end grunt and turbine smooth by comparison. Mine feels like a rocket powered cement mixer....such an enormous difference. He's going to be more comfy, that's for sure. I'll just have to roost him all the harder.
