  • I might pop to see Bromley on Saturday myself. It's been a year of living less than a mile from the ground and i haven't been once yet.

  • just been told "i only wanted to do the hamlet burgers, not that arsed about non league".
    WAFP

  • Liverpool winning more than one made up table it seems

God it's gonna be so hard to take come May when Chelsea or City win it yet again :(

  • Tactics Tim to QPR...

  • Streatham Rovers

Check their twitter for news @StreathamRovers

Support your local South London team

  • Brother in law.

  • Boreham Wood fan? We* were lucky in this game. Replay should be good.

*Notts was my local team growing up.

  • Notts fan here. They were my uncle's boyhood team and he's roped me into attending all of their London-area fixtures since 2010. Cold Tuesday nights in Stevenage, etc.

That first-half performance was amongst the worst I've ever seen, we were really lucky.

  • In comparison to the fat Spanish waiter; he is.

  • Respect. Nice to know another fan. Although its a miserable experience as I'm sure you know.

My first football game as a nipper was Notts Reserves (the glamour!). Went a fair few times as a kid (got to see Klinsmann play at Meadow Lane. Also got to see Newcastle thrash us 7-1, with most goals from local lad Andy Cole). Then I worked there for a year or two (in the burger bar) so got to watch the second half of the game. Been going to 1 game or so a season since I've been in London (Charlton, Brentford, Wimbledon etc... - I've even dragged my wife to some of these fixtures) but the fuckers keep getting promoted and little old Notts can't keep up.

My brother used to be a huge fan (he even went to Italy for the Anglo-Italia cup game) but he lives overseas now.

I'm an idiot for not going to this game. So easy for me to get to.

  • It's occasionally miserable but I'm under the hopeless delusion that we can turn it around one day.

I'm going to Barnet, Colchester, and Orient of the remaining fixtures. Sorry, I don't mean to brag! You should definitely try to get to Orient, it'll be a promotion scrap.

  • I wish I shared your optimism. I do think we're better than league two though. Even though recent seasons suggest not. Be great to be in with a shout at the play offs.

Ill try and get to orient. Shouldnt be too hard.

    Coyp

  • I spent years watching Burnley at places like Barnet, Halifax, Rochdale, etc. It can all change.

  • I look forward to feeling sentimental about the good ol' League 2 days. Except Stevenage, fuck that place.

  • I feel sentimental about league 2 right now. Although it was it was a pretty depressing last few years.. Last season i went to orient only to miss the first 25 mins as they never printed enough away tickets and kept us waiting outside until they printed more. Made us pay full price despite missing a 1/4 of match. Charmers at orient.

  • The international break has started the injuries already...

  • Boreham Wood fan?

I do think we need to remember that this thread is for discussing LFC.

  • You'd better be careful if you start doing that again...

  • Yes, definitely, but very few can produce a such level of entertainment.
