That does seem odd actually doesn't it. I should point out this is exit polling. More accurate than the pre-vote polls but still a poll. They might have just asked more rich people. Or people might be bigging up their income I guess?
If you scroll down to 'Income' on the NYT's exit polling page it also says more people earning under $50k voted Clinton too, but doesn't break down the respondent percentages:

6% of the 24k polled, I guess. Still sounds skewed.

Don't know about weird or garbled but he's wrong about it being a rejection of an economic system that isn't working for most people.
Is it too much to expect politicians to fact check basic things before jumping to conclusions?
I agree with most of it but this wasn't the poor and disenfranchised sending a message to the liberal elite, so can we knock that one on the head now please.
