I joined as I was curious and knew I would pass the pre-vetting process due to my law firm employment but never went on a club ride or collected my jersey. The inside of the website is as bad as you would imagine, a long survey on rim depth choice, the cost of our bikes and where we'd like to go on long-haul cycling trips (Dubai!). So after all the grossness we've seen I resigned my membership via email and he agreed to hear my reasons for leaving. I was nice but told him it was a wasted opportunity to do something positive with the type of people he was hoping to interest, and that the club was wrongheaded and exclusive for no reason. I then gave him a list of things he could encourage his members to do in their office / the City instead of just putting together horrible and borderline unridable bikes. Not had a response from him.
