Can't comment on the other training jersey, but I'm also on the cusp of small and medium, and went for the small pt softshell. The sleeves fit well, chest is fine and I can fit another jersey or base layer under it. But it's damn short, it almost shows a gap where the bottom of the v in my thermal bib straps (on the bike that's helped by leaning over, but it's not my favourite standing up so i always wear a base layer under it)

I was on the cusp and went for the medium. I could fit in both, but at 6ft4 I went for the medium for the length, and I preferred it being a bit more relaxed for occasional commuting in and cafe stops. If I wanted proper race fit in a winter jacket then I would have gone for Small.

Anyone know if the Rapha site is playing up a bit? It's letting me add PT softshell and/or training jerseys to my basket, but also has a button appearing that says 'email me when back in stock'.
Parallel question - how do those two size up? I think I'm on the cusp of S and M.
