A lot of you are asking whether these are for rim or disc brakes.

They can be used for both but they will look best with discs.

If you use rim brakes you will rub off anodising on rim track in a similar way you would on archetypes.

Yes they are machined.

But there's nothing stopping you using for discs either as braking surface will be nice and minty.
