While googling away for assistance with my restoration of an FH Grubb tandem from the 30s (thread to come. eventually...), I came across this relatively new firm in Islington: http://www.freddiegrubb.com/
Has dear old Freddie's name & copyright lapsed then, or did they buy it from Holdsworth (&then presumably PlanetX?)
The bicycles look smart enough in a hipster way, but seem rather overpriced to me. I suspect the frames are just mass-produced in the far east...? I also suspect Freddie Grubb would not be best pleased to know that his name is being used on frames with such presumably low quality tubing. I stand to be corrected on the quality of the no-name "cro-mo" tubing though, if anyone knows more about these new upstarts than me!
