Fuck, that's nice!

Build looks good, though you would probably do better splitting out as most of the value is in the frame.
No idea on pricing really but surely the frame could command circa 400.

A moderately serious comment now after I've told you that is a nice looking bike.
Why aren't you putting it up for sale here. LFGSS is close to be World Fixed Gear Central. I know as I've got interest in my current postings from birmingham, Poland and Chicago.
A search would bring up plenty of other Roberts bikes and frames so why are you not doing that instead of asking what you think it is worth. If you have done that already you should really have included that nugget of information.
Enough from me and GLWS.

He's right^. 'Fishing expeditions' are expressly banned the forum's 'rules for classifieds'.
Name the price you think is probably a tiny bit high and you'll probably get it. If not, drop it a bit at regular intervals.
We LOVE a nice roberts here. They're like our ambrosia ...

If you want an accurate valuation, one of the guys at the Hackney Peddlar in Hackney has a large collection of Roberts and I'm pretty sure he had one similar to this but in blue as I had a look round when my sister got herself a bike so maybe it's worth giving them/him a ring (I think his name was Alex).
And sell it on here, it's stunning

Thanks all for the ideas.
Thanks Norfolkbound, I'll give Alex a buzz.
NorthLondonLight, because I don't have a lot of free time at the moment to research it and was looking for a quick estimate. I've got an idea now of options.
Cool, thanks for the help everyone.

V nice. Is the BB pantographed? What's the frame size? Cheers. Tom

Not sure about the BB toms, I'll check, from memory no. It's a 55cm frame but it looks taller because of the steep angles.

What's your price then?

It's against forum rules apparently to fish for buyers on this thread. So I'm going to post it on the for sale thread later. Cheers.
Hi all,
could anyone tell me a rough value of my Roberts track bike? Am thinking to ebay it with a fixed price.
198? Roberts track frame and fork (not sure what tubing, I've heard they mixed 531 and columbus), two tone white and green / gold decals with fully chromed right chain stay.
Crankset is a vintage 165mm Stronglight track.
Bars are vintage Cinelli deep drop track bars
Wheels are currently Mavic CPX30 on On-One hubs
Stronglight Competition BB and BBB headset with original Omas headset included.
Carbon seatpost and crappy Charge saddle
All components run super smooth, a couple of scratches touched up with paint on the frame, always stored indoors and never ridden in the rain. She's a very fast bike, frame feels very stiff and smooth over roads.
I've been bitten by the mtb bug after a day downhilling at MTB Wales near Merthyr so am scraping funds together to buy a Trek Remedy (the hire bike I rode, loved it!). New job means I don't ride much anymore (company car now - I miss my commuting!).
The bike's in my attic but I have these photos I took a while ago with some pista navigator wheels on it.
