I'm still undecided though which is not a bad thing as it's snowing outside right now & this is not that kind of bike. No rush.
I'm still considering the idea of a carriage bolt since it might look a little bit more discrete.
All the above are good suggestions though, thanks again @drøn, @umop3pisdn, @Aroogah, @ffm & @Constable_Savage. @TRA nailed it with thinking outside the box. We'll see, maybe @mdcc_tester has the ultimate solution.
