We are much better than under brendan. Post suarez made that point loud and clear. What is really assuring is the sheer numbers of different goal scorers. You can drop players out and there are players ready to drop in and do an equal job. The biggest concern is sturridge for firmino. The latter's off the ball work isn't something that can be bridged. If DS has lost that '13 pace on the last man's shoulder...Then he's even less use in this set up.

The fact that he and origi are yet to score, is the biggest testament to the strides made.

And Jagielka is in too after having the worst season(so far) of his Everton career

I thought we played well on Saturday from back to front. Courtois had very few touches and so one cannot rate him but everyone else played their role. Never seen a goal keeper out at half time to warm up before. Then again, Conte probably covered more ground in his technical area than Courtois did in his penalty area and possibly got more touches of the ball.

Apart from Barkley, Everton were pretty decent. Barkley, though, was atrocious. Good to see him off to play for England.
