You rang? Single crowned strut can be made more aero than a traditional single crowned fork. Weight obviously depends on how you fabricate it. Like for like, does it need more mass...not sure. Ask Burrows. I suspect you can have your cake and eat it in that you'll still get teh aeros even with a tube fat enough to be hollowed out to the point where weight & stiffness is comparable.
