I panic-bought a winter collar as I was on my way to the station to go riding somewhere cold, and was sceptical. OMFG the thing is made of gossamer and unicorn jizz. Don't notice it round your neck other than feeling comfortable. Pull it up round your chops and it magically lets your breath out while not letting the biting headwind in. Elastication is just right so it doesn't move no matter where you put it on your head.
