Given Nixon escaped impeachment, it'd take a lot for Trump to suffer that fate. Especially if one or both of the houses of Congress are in Republican control.

I'm sure there are a few crazies out there that have only the wooliest concept of how political assassination usually works. If you fight voter fraud by voting twice who is to say that you don't stop the elite assassinating your man by shooting him first?
