TIG uses less material and doesn't have all the post-weld cleanup that brazing does. Brazing looks nicer, of course.
This is (from memory) largely 853, I'll get a full list off Matt. Frameset cost I'd also have to check as due to #thanksbrexit materials prices are in flux.
