Like advertising rims for £200, then half an hour later increasing the price to £250 once they had enough publicity.

Ribble haz Velox with flexitube attachment so it should work with disc wheels for £2.99 , and a smaller road version with a push-on connection like PitStop for only £1.99. I suspect that Vittoria prices their product to exploit the excellent brand awareness they have achieved.
