Speaking of rye in the Cocktail thread, have you tried the Woodford's rye offering, @Aroogah ?

No. Been pretty preoccupied by Makers Mark lately. I have a love / hate relationship. I am currently digging the cherry overtones and it makes me want to drink manhattans (vermouth, soz). I'll eventually get annoyed by the slight hint of top end ethanol that I can normally ignore.

Makers & Coke is my go-to 'bar that's too knobby to serve decent beers so I have to drink mixers or cocktails' drink. I had a bottle at home but found it too sharp to drink neat much.
