kinda think hates "the line" but just upgraded mine via the App Store and I'm pissed and had no issues. all used it for work

Easy to keep auto update turned off. Also it's not so much of an issue these days as everyone is switching over to the Clover bootloader which lets you install software updates.

I'd wouldn't hackintosh something that would be used for work. It can easily get borked by a software update...
