Kingmaker supported Wonderstuff at my Uni hall summer party ('93).

Band hierarchy is therefore:
Radiohead are below Kingmaker.
Kingmaker are below Wonderstuff. -

Apart from Loop this looks amazing and only £20

Indeed, but they royally fucked up the last gig they put on (wouldn't be surprised if Barry Hogan is involved somehow).
Still, Swans.

Where you there when Conflict played that one-week residency at Hyde Park supported by Duran Duran? Back in the 80s, mind, when they were huge.

Barry isn't involved

Swans are just incredible, have tickets to see them the night before at the Roundhouse. I did look up to see whether Royal Trux were playing any other dates but there don't appear to be any plans at the moment.

I've Seen swans a few times but their gig few weeks ago in Islington blew me away. Best one so far.

Yep, we held very high expectations and they totally exceeded them. The Assembly Hall was a wonderful venue for the gig. I remember finding them quite incomprehensible when I saw them at the Sheffield Leadmill in '92.

Royal Trux - When did they reform ?

last year and I think Neil Hagerty has gotten over his fear of flying.

Cool- thanks

Neil Hagerty played Primavera this summer with his Howling Hex. They were terrible, tbh. But Royal Trux are bound to be great, aren't they?

I'm off to see Peaches at the Oval Space later, she puts on a show so it should be ace!

Went to Blue Note in NYC last weekend. 'Close' doesn't describe our proximity to the stage....

Royal Trux announced for Primavera. Also Death Grips, Aphex Twin, Descendents, Run The Jewels, Shellac, Teenage Fanclub, Slayer, Grandaddy, Zombies, Grace Jones, Sleep, Front 242, Afghan Whigs. Best festival lineup I've seen in years.

Teenage Fanclub are playing here in Brisbane on my 50th birthday...
I'm gonna be in Spain...
Gutted doesn't adequately describe my feelings...

Mighty tempting if only to see the Descendents and Converge with some added sun

I've met Michael a few times, he's good freinds with a few of my good freinds so have seen him play from small venues to where he's at now. Great guy and fantastic live.

I have a couple of tickets for Allo Darlin' at Scala on 11th December that I can't use. Anyone want them, twenty quid for the pair? Can email tickets through.
Just finished a 3 gigs in 3 days extravaganza. PJ Harvey (Brixton Academy), The Musical Box (Hammersmith Apollo... Genesis cover band!), Matt Berry (Koko, Camden). I've seen all three before but highlight might be Peej singing a song about wishing her grandma was still around for her to chat with. I cried.
I also cycled to each venue from Blackheath. I need a lie down.
