I need to get a filter for my throttle bodies to help quieten it down, you reckon don't buy 2nd hand?
There's some new ones on eBay by a company called Ramair. Not sure of quality:

Yeah similar to the Pipercross PX600 i have. I would buy a new one - if the baseplate doesn't match the spacing on your engine you'll need a new blank backplate and they're a minimum of £25 - I think i've only actually saved a tenner in the end buying 2nd hand.
I had ramair socks on a set of webers previously and they used to collapse under throttle load and suffocate the trumpets - make sure the one you buy has a mesh liner to stop that!
Which bodies have you got on?
What do you do at Dyson out of interest?
On a different note, i bought a 2nd hand pipercross air filter to suit my throttle bodies but annoyingly the spacing from the previous engine it was on was different, so i'll have to replace the backplate.
The good news is my CAE shifter finally turned up, in all its CNC machined glory
