Always used to know when it was firework time as the local yoof would let them off horizontally down the street... don't seem to do it so much these days, can only imagine a couple of them ended up holding the wrong end.

Fireworks go off constantly everyday where I am.
Specially now we're in Diwali peorid, there's quite a few indians where I am, as well as the gorgeous temple in Neasden which isn;t too far... -

Did this on accident on stoke newington road the other night,
let off a large skyrocket on a side street (intending it to go upwards) but it shot scross the street in front of a police van and exploded under a car.
Sirens and lights went on we walked away briskly. -

went to the display at Burbage Road squash club last night.... really amazing! I havent been to a fireworks display in ages, and i really enjoyed it.
I guess they pumped this one up this year, as the Brockwell park display was cancelled.

I am gutted not to be up tonight, but I'd suggest Primrose Hill. There aren;t any official fireworks, but you get good views of those across London and the atmosphere is always awesome.

this. saturdays usually the best day to do this, but it's still a pretty good view even if its not the busiest night.
blackheath last night was pretty good, busy but easy enough to get away from. nice one lewisham council. hoping weavers field tonight will be similar.

I've got tickets for the Ravenscourt Park display, should be good.
I don't like fireworks and make a point of not seeing them. Funnily enough, tonight there hardly seemed to be anything going off in my area, unlike other years. Recession?
