Paint plan update.
I was talking to Josh, a mechanic at LMNH this morning and he has a lovely raw finish Cinelli and that has got me thinking. Here goes
Main tubes apart from head tube, chain stays and forks all to be raw with a nice lacquer with a touch of blue to protect the metal. Some gold lug lining to highlight and add a touch of class.
Head tube white with badge in blue and lug lined with gold.
Seat stays white for pair which attach to the brake bridge/badge which will be in blue. The other two will be blue.
I think that this will mean I'm going to have to change some of the components as some of Weinmann parts have red touches but on reflection it iss only on the brake levers as I'll probably get a modern long-drop front brake.
