Mudguards enrage me more than any other part of the bike.
Got a set of sks longboards, fitted them to my kinesis disc which required intricate bending of the stays.
These lasted a few months and then the end of the front guard snapped off. These were replaced under warranty.
My frame broke shortly thereafter and my warranty replacement frameset had the fork mudguard mounts in a different place so I had to carefully bend a new set of stays.
The 2nd set's front flap snapped off a few weeks ago so I got a new set of sks longboards and a set of raw mudflaps.
Tried to fit them today and found that sks have changed the location of the stays on their longboards (moved them further towards the bottom, presumably so they don't snap so easily).
So now I'm sitting here sweating and furious, trying to carefully bend and dremel a new set of stays into place.

Fuck's sake!
