They sound amazing, I love local businesses like this. I hope they'll thrive.
The name sounds vaguely German, though. :)

Vegan Scotch Eggs ;)

Scoped out Tofurei in Norwich today and sampled many wares. They had Tyne Chease in all varieties, very impressed by the creamed versions personally. Their tofu was really lovely, can definitely see it making into the vegan cottage cheese type thing we make. The soy milk itself was quite different - the unsweetened fresh stuff had a more subtle flavour than I've had but quite a strong smell; on the other hand the chocolate and vanilla sweetened varieties were far less cloying and much nicer than commercial varieties. All the baked goods seemed fab also, especially some very rich-looking chocolate tart. Well worth a visit I feel, and it sounds like they're just getting started on the soy experimentation

I take it you saw that when you took pictures at this march?

Yeh, I'll post up some more when they are done.

Just make sure that it doesn't make you lose your focus on foxes, though.

I was not a fan and am not a fan or the real thing either (omnivore, sorry). Maybe they would have worked as smaller things. But they were way too big and oily from frying for me.
Nut cheese was ok. Chocs / cakes were plentiful and plenty came home with Mrs c00ps. Cider was sampled over the weekend (hic). Wine will have to be sampled soon...
Good lunch from The Wandering Yak (their menu was adapted from the one on the website, with vegan bits only, obvs). Yum! http://www.wanderingyak.co.uk

Happy World Vegan Day!

Yep and yep!
I loved the vegan doner but it needed better salad and sauce. I am a condiment nazi tho so it's probably just me.
Posted in the less-vegan thread by accident, so here it is again
