@skinnywheels what's the crank length?
-
• #7
Thanks guys I'll double check when I'm home but pretty sure the arms are 172.5mm. Will confirm in the next couple of hours. I'll have a think about splitting but would rather keep complete for obvious reasons currently thanks jon

All sold sold to ed as a group thanks for the interest.
Frameset still available and now crazy cheap £350 plus postage!
Terry dolan 853 frame and Columbus minimal full carbon forks (loads of steerer left). Plus Campagnolo record 1 inch headset. The f7olks were new and are superb the headset was nos and I think I have a spare bearing race. Frame description as above top 853 Reynolds steel. All in all lovely and like to keep.
I looked into some modern steel frame and imho they aren't a scratch on the quality of this.
Full Campagnolo 10 speed carbon groupset. The shifters were bought brand new from lbs as were the titanium brake set nos. The rear and front mech are in great shape the rear has a few marks on the metal but looks amazing when fitted and not noticeable. Chain set is compact 50/36 with little used rings. Record/super record bb ultra torque bottom bracket, 10 speed chain KMC Chain.
Cassette - is a veloce sorry) but works great and ultimately is a replaceable item. 13-29
I personally think this group is iconic and will become increasingly difficult to find especially in this condition in great condition with near new parts timeless group that i'll almost certainly not have again :(
Asking £495 plus delivery. I would like the payment by bank transfer or fees covered please. (Not aloud to ask as gift)
Terry Dolan (cougar) 853 frame and Columbus minimal full carbon 1 inch fork.

The frameset is for the frame forks and record headset. It weighs in altogether at 2.3 kilos so would imagine the frameset without stops and headset spacers etc was a smidge under 2kg. Its a stunning frame and great to ride. I'm simply selling as I'm not using it enough and now I'm coaching (propello) im using shop bikes.
The rear spacing is 130mm I'll pictures of the bike built I ran the campag record carbon 10 groupset. I'm based in North devon but happy to post if you aren't local. I have sent and received so many bike bits over the years it will be very well wrapped and boxed. I would bolt out the rear drop. The frame was made by Terry dolan a very respected builder I was told I bought it 2nd hand off original owner in 2000. Its 853 all the way through unlike many more modern frames. The forks are Combs minimal full carbon 1 inch. With plenty of steerer tube left.
Forgot the sizing! !!! Right I'm 5 10 with shorter legs as in 31 I think and longer upper body it was a great fit for me. It could go either way though I also ran a flat stem the seat tube is 55 to bottom of the seat tube but it is curved as most are to the top is seat tube is 55.5cm. I was sold it as a 56cm. The top tube is 54.5cm centre to centre but you could measure it as 55cm.
Loads of pic links below to bike when built, and frame and groupset now stripped down.

I don't think £375 plus postage is unreasonable (unless people think otherwise). I looked into some modern steel frame and imho they aren't a scratch on the quality of this.
