Yep, great time of year. My current habit is occasional ~30 mile rides out into the Kent countryside in between running (pre-London Marathon training) and yesterday's nothing-special afternoon spin took me through Downe village, which I've probably passed through more than most places over the last 30 years. It was looking particularly autumnal and lovely.
