It is an absurd drag car, it can't do anything but rip 11s down the strip.

My pal who has a 315 hp big single turbo A Series with nitrous can't even go up the strip because he breaks gearboxes. He favours 10" wheels with semi slicks because when 315 hp hits it just obliterates the tyres instead of breaking parts. Which of course makes it un-driveable because who wants to just spin the wheels?

50k on a drag car, to only do 11s. some people are nuts.

True dat - just saw a feature in Hot Rod about turbo kits for $600 off Amazon. With a little fettling (and a few aftermarket parts) they ended up getting just shy of 600hp out of a tired old 350 truck motor. Crazy.
