what is the frame designed for? how many and which rotors do you have?
They come single.
-
• #110879
Well it says max 160mm rotor. Which obviously means 140 or 160.
I have the 160 that came with the spyre brakes. I will defo need to adaptors or buy 140 rotors.

frameset looks like 160mm front and 140mm rear .. if you already have 2x 160mm rotors then yeah you will need 1x SM-MA-F180P/P2 adaptor.

Ordered two now! One will be for spares then. Unless is needed by someone else..
Thanks anyway, always very helpful.

We're in the same boat it seems - had the exact same issue building mine up with Spyres 160 rotors at the weekend.

Building a niner rlt9? It's been sitting in my room for near 3 weeks now just waiting to get built....
-

Yeah the mint one.. picked it up in the recent sale.
Was planning to get it done quickly and go away riding gravel in Alsace this weekend on it but not sure if that'll be the case now given the delay so will probably take the Wolverine instead.

Aah well the wolverine isn't a bad substitute tbh!
Mine should be done my the end of the week, just waiting on mounts for the brakes calipers

regarding caliper adapters: It seems that Shimano and Trp dont follow the same standard. The trp ones I have are slightly higher than the shimano ones: 1-2mm. Ill get a picture up later.
So please report back if they work fine, or maybe buy some Trp ones instead
edit: or use the shimano adapter + 1-2 washer to fine adjust the caliper

Missed having a fixie skidder so picked up this Bolt 2.0.
Threw some bits on it. Looks like it's gonna fit great with risers.
Have some bits and bobs on order so finishing kit will be different but wheels will remain the same.
JayBee approves too by the looks of it.

Really like the look of the Bolt 2.0. Goes well with your splashback too :D

I can attest to this. Pushing 33yo is tough ha!

The absolute madman, he actually did it.
After procrastinating vigorously for the last few months, I just dropped more than the combined value of the rest of my bikes on a downpayment for a very, very nice indeed hand build steel frame.
This gives me six months to further procrastinate all over the place regarding the kit to put on it which will push the total spend into low end new car territory.
Well it's not like I'm going to be able to afford my own flat any time soon anyway.

Just finished taking apart and cleaning up the Duell I bought recently. It came out very nice. Actually I only found one tiny paint chip on the entire frame. Really like to way full on Columbus MAX tubing looks, as supposed to the Merckx MX-leader frame I am used seeing.

Looks lovely, liking the fork crown detail and beefy chainstays. Frame has a lot of potential but protect that bb shell please ;)

^RAL 7000?... That's my colour! :-)
Yeah my first disk build...
It's designed for 140/160 and the brakes came with 160 so that's what I'm going with. Just need the adaptor you just posted, as it came with a post to IS which won't work.
Nice one.
