Aye it seems 6-bolt discs are a no go. Doubt the adaptor would work as it still needs bolted to the hub,and it's the bolts themselves that are the problem.
Will maybe see what the LBS thinks tomorrow. By the by, whilst I'm in a grumpy mood it's not that I'm grumpy with you, so apologies if I have come across that way.

No apologies necessary mate. I know how you feel I've been there bought something and plans don't work. Doh I should have thought about bolt on centre lock adaptor!
I suppose worst way is build the front again with a centre lock hub? -

Can't you use disc bolts with flat heads?

Visit the Pompino thread for good tamine suggetions.

Ta.
Good idea on flat-headed bolts, if suitable ones exist - but what you've linked to -- I think -- require a countersunk hole, which the disc rotor doesn't have, so they'll still stick out.

I'm sorry I don't follow -- "tamine"?

In think they'd work, I think it's what tester suggested to me. There is very little flex there, so you don't need a lot of room.
Easiest fix is add a washer to the axle on that side- the fork is steel so will take it, and just add washers to the disc caliper too if needed.I got away with just flatter bolts rather than flat. I have about 2mm space now, Haven't had any probs.

First post and its about disc mounts...eeesshhh
EDIT:........and not only that but page two reveals that someone has already covered my suggestion

Not sure if you've sorted it yet but i've got some kaffenback forks that are flattened to clear the disc bolts you could have for a 10er?
-
• #41
I've not, yet. Just spent some of this evening staring at it wondering what to do. Thanks for the offer! What's the a2c length on the kaff fork, and how much steerer is left?
-
• #42
Not sure on the A2C, but the kaffenback and pomp are pretty identical framesets so should be the same? Not sure on the steerer either but they're what ever came stock on a Large

Off to race my first of the year... On the pompino.
Pompetamine still lurks on the workstand.

Okay, having raced last night on the pompino I've concluded that I am going to sell on this pompetamine frameset. Canti cross racing seems more than adequate and I've a limited amount of energy to expend on projects.
I'll just want the £100 I paid for it. And I've a few other bits and bobs I could include for a few extra pounds if you're wanting.
Based in Edinburgh but will be in London the weekend of 12-13 November so I could bring it along then.

Pro tip: the fork requires use of centre lock hubs/rotors for clearance!

This guy says bolt on rotors don't work with the pomp fork.
Could you put a dent in the fork to clear the bolt heads?
What about bolt on to centre lock adaptors?
