Vintage Dutch Opa Fiets Bike For Sale. 62cm- SOLD!

Alright forumgers,

I am selling one of my favourite bikes because the collection is out of hand (again) and I no longer live in the city so this solid SS is less useful in the stix (using a geared Moulton MK 2 instead). In LDN it was my daily commuter when I worked at LMNH and was super comfy, reliable, invisible to neer-do wells and good at hauling tools and baggage. I acquired the frame and forks in Amsterdam when living there and working at http://www.workcycles.com/ and guesses were that the bike is from around 1950 but unfortunately the head badge is off (frame number is 21406 which is found on the lug at the top of the drive-side seat-tube...please enlighten me any experts!).

Bike now features:

• a NOS front wheel with Sachs drum brake making stopping a bit easier.
  
• a Workcycles rear wheel with a Big-Bull rim laced to shimano coaster brake hub.

It's a bit crusty paint-wise but all the bearings are good. I'm still using but will supply with new chain and sprocket if I have a buyer. Can deliver to Kent or LDN at cost.
