Muscle memory.
My biggest gripe with Apple, and the single reason I've not had an Apple computer, is that I can't get used to the cut and paste keys having moved to the strange Swedish topo key.
Honestly, as a coder cut and paste is what defines a good keyboard ;)

You should try setting up a hardware pedal and bind that to ESC. Once you've got a clutch to control your editor you won't go back.

Damn, was waiting for these and really considering finally buying an Apple device.
But... no ESC key!
How, how will that work with VIM? Or Emacs? Or... just anything?
Will I have to rebind CAPS LOCK as ESC and wipe out muscle memory of 20 years?
I'll wait a couple of days for the full details to arrive and the initial feedback... but I fear I may end up with a Dell and continue to run Linux.
