There's a company over here called Warp9 that sell SM wheels and 300mm brake conversions pretty cheaply. Tempting but if there's one type of bike that can exceed general street twattery more than a straight dirt bike, it's a SM :) Would be awesome fun though....

New bike! 2007 Husqvarna TE510. It's registered and fully street legal in California but is basically a full on, open class dirt bike. Needed a number plates bike to take part in the LA-Barstow-Vegas enduro that happens the two days after Thanksgiving. 500 miles of off road through the Mojave and surrounding deserts between Palmdale and LV. Got a bit of prep to do on it...and probably need to learn how to use a roll chart.
And do some exercise...
