Kitchen cabinets are a piece of piss to install, as long as you take your time lining everything up. So are most kitchen appliances (except for Gas hobs - you need a professional for that).
Everything is basically standard sizes and fitments.
Save the money for good flooring, a nice worktop and decent handles. 90% of the perceived quality is the finish.
